I’m so excited to share the animated video we made, “How to Decarbonize a State!” It was a big, collaborative effort with Juan-Pablo Velez’s new org Win Climate, filmmaker friend Brian Ashby, animator/editor Giorgia Harvey, and my illustration.
But basically, I got to draw a million fun pictures, and Giorgia put them into a playfully moving universe, in service of a message I care a lot about. Probably the most gratifying gig I’ve ever had.
Also, surprisingly personal: a lot of the backgrounds are scans of things I found around the house, like favorite fabrics, envelope liners, and old doodles. It’s a bit trippy.
